egorkhober (opens new window), both holding a bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics.
Nick Korolev (opens new window) is a professional poker player and software developer in the past. He is also the founder of other educational projects in the poker niche, such as HUD Store (opens new window) and Getcoach (opens new window).- Egor Khober (opens new window) is a senior software developer with 15+ years of experience and has served as CTO in several startups, bringing deep expertise in building and scaling technology products.
Today the project is powered by a team of designers, developers, professional players, and coaches. All decisions are made collaboratively, ensuring FreeBetRange combines poker expertise with strong technical execution.
# 📖 Our story
The idea for FreeBetRange first appeared back in 2017, when poker players had no convenient software to store and manage ranges. Most players relied on Excel files or even printed charts.
FreeBetRange started in 2020 with a simple vision: allow people to create and store ranges in a functional browser-based application.
Step by step, we added more features:
- a powerful Trainer with two learning modes,
- our own GTO Library,
- and continuous improvements to the Editor and Viewer.
Today, FreeBetRange is a browser-based poker study platform used by 🔥 50,000+ players worldwide.
